Business Policy
The following policies have been put in place to ensure that all clients have equal access to classes. Read below for policies on cancelling classes, and what happens when you “no show” for a class.
It is considered a “no-show” when you pre-register for a class and do not show up.
If you are pre-registered for a class and cannot make it, please cancel your reservation so the instructor knows you cannot make it.
The front door is locked at the start time of each class. This is to ensure the security of personal belongings in the foyer. If you are late for a class, please lightly knock once, and wait for the instructor to come let you in.
Class Cancellation Policy
If cancelling a pre-registered class, clients must cancel a minimum of 2 hours before the session start time. If a class is cancelled within the 2 hour window before the class start time, it is considered a late cancel, and the client is responsible for paying the drop in rate of $15. This penalty is for all clients, including those that hold a membership.
Workshop Cancellation
Due to the limited availability in workshops, if you are unable to attend a workshop you have registered for, you must cancel 24 hours before the start time of the session. If a workshop is cancelled within the 24 hour window before the start time, it is considered a late cancel, and the client is responsible for paying the full workshop price. The price varies depending on the workshop.
Frequent Late Cancels and No Shows
If a client has 3 late cancels or no-shows within a 7 day period, they will automatically be charged a $45 penalty.
Waitlist
All classes and workshops have a waitlist. If the session is full, you can be added to the waitlist. If a registered client cancels, the next client on the waitlist will receive an email asking if they would like to register for the class. These emails are timed, and if not responded to, the system will move onto the next person in line. Please respond as soon as you can, to avoid losing your place in line.
Memberships
In certain situations, a membership can be put on hold for 1 month. After the one month hold, the payments will automatically start again. Please contact Sophie to discuss your situation and see if your membership can be put on hold. Memberships cannot be refunded under any circumstance.
