Find Your Calm: Yoga for Anxiety

Anxiety is a learned reaction to stress.

In this workshop we will examine techniques to redirect thoughts and allow for greater resilience. Difficulties will always exist in our lives. Rather than hoping for them to go away, we will work to confront and manage our challenges with ease and grace.

This four-week workshop includes:

  • breathing exercises that can be done anywhere

  • handouts and practice logs that will be emailed to you

  • easy lifestyle changes that can reduce anxiety

  • yoga sequences designed to relax the nervous system

  • mindfulness practices to foster resiliency

Each 90 minute session will begin with a themed discussion followed by movement practices designed to reduce the effects of anxiety. All sessions will be delivered through Zoom, allowing you to practice in the privacy of your own home.
